UseDem has one primary aim: to eliminate textile waste. We believe that upcycling is a possible solution to the textile industry's pollution. Not only this, but by reusing and reshaping old jeans, they can transform the consumer based mindset of our society.
UseDem source used jeans from individuals as well as discarded jeans and fabric from factories inventories and upcycle them into unique, beautiful and marketable products.
Their bags and accessories are made in partnership with Home Sweet Home, who operate their factory on the outskirts of Shanghai. They are a not-for profit organisation which provides training and employment for Chinese people with special needs or disabilities.
