Wendela is the Managing Partner of Dentons Amsterdam, a branch of the largest law firm in the world. Additionally, she is a member of both Dentons' Europe Board and Global Board. She is a passionate lawyer who specialises in real estate law, with a focus on retail, commercial leases and international transactions. As an honorary professor Wendela teaches European real estate law at the Amity University of Dubai. She also teaches at the University of Amsterdam, and publishes regularly. 

Wendela has been recognized several times by Chambers and Legal 500 as a ‘leading individual’ in the Netherlands for real estate matters and retail. She is also recognized by Legal Media Group as 'Women in Business Law’. Wendela holds an LLM from the University of Leiden.
